Job Description:
Full job descriptionAn established healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Plumber to join their Estates & Facilities team. This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance and operation of a busy, technically complex environment.
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £40,500
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
*To perform maintenance, repair and installation work, including activities which are technically intricate and/or non-routine
*Responsible for calibration and fault-finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment (low pressure hot water systems, steam raising plant, Air Handling Units, steam sterilisers and associated equipment)
*Undertaking maintenance repairs and minor improvement across the Trust as directed by Management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures
*To undertake the day to day planned preventive maintenance duties and repairs.
*Checks and testing of the complete spectrum of services found in a building services environment
*Mechanical Fault Finding
*Boiler Plant Treatment checks
About You
*Proven experience in a plumbing or mechanical maintenance role
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*Knowledge of building services systems and maintenance practices
*Understanding of health & safety compliance within a maintenance setting
