Astro Education is recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme seeking an enthusiastic and talented Drama & Dance Teacher to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop creativity, confidence, performance skills, and a love of the performing arts.

The RoleAs a Drama & Dance Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging Drama and Dance lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students
*Assess, monitor, and support student progress
*Contribute to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities where appropriate
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who has:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Experience teaching Drama and/or Dance at secondary level
*Strong classroom management skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A genuine passion for performing arts education
*The ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
