We are seeking an experienced and highly practical Property Manager to join a leading agency in St Albans. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands the lettings and property management process but also has strong, hands-on knowledge of routine property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a portfolio of residential properties across the St Albans area
*Overseeing routine and reactive maintenance, including diagnosing common issues and advising on appropriate solutions
*Coordinating contractors, obtaining quotes, and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
*Conducting regular property inspections and producing clear, detailed reports
*Handling tenant enquiries and providing excellent customer service
*Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, safety standards, and company procedures
*Managing tenancy renewals, check-ins, and check-outs
*Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
Skills & Experience
*Significant experience in property management within the residential lettings sector
*Strong practical understanding of property maintenance.
*Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess maintenance issues confidently
*Strong communication and organisational abilities
*Ability to work independently.
*Full UK driving licence (essential)
