Hertfordshire / Essex location – Office-based

*Are you experienced in forecasting, stock planning, and trading performance?
We’re working with a fast-growing, omni-channel consumer brand entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation. As part of this, they are hiring an Inventory & Demand Planner, a role with clear progression.
This is not a traditional planning role. You’ll play a key role in shaping how planning operates across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders and directly impacting trading performance.
What you’ll be doing
*Owning SKU-level demand forecasting, incorporating seasonality, promotions, and trading patterns
*Managing inventory and replenishment strategies to optimise availability and minimise excess stock
*Partnering with the ecommerce, commercial, and operations teams to align stock decisions with trading plans
*Analysing performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to improve sales and margins
*Supporting the evolution of planning processes, tools, and reporting
Experience:
We’re looking for someone with a blend of analytical capability and commercial thinking. Ideally, from a retail, ecommerce, or consumer goods background.
You’ll likely be:
*A Merchandise Planner, Demand Planner, or Inventory Planner
*Experienced in forecasting, stock planning, and trading performance
*Comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial and operational teams
*Someone with strong progression in your career to date
*Ambitious and ready to step into leadership in the near future
*Experience in fast-paced environments (retail, ecommerce, FMCG) is highly desirable
