A growing and ambitious law firm is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Team Leader to join its Accrington office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and develop a team handling housing disrepair matters, while also managing their own caseload within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
The firm is looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent client care, achieving strong outcomes, and supporting the development of a high-performing team.


The Role
You will oversee and support a team of fee earners handling housing disrepair claims, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with client and business expectations.


Key Responsibilities
• Managing team capacity and ensuring workloads are distributed effectively
• Supervising, motivating, and supporting team members through regular meetings and 1-2-1s
• Managing your own housing disrepair caseload from inception to conclusion
• Ensuring a consistently high standard of client service and legal advice
• Working towards departmental targets and performance objectives
• Supporting team development and promoting a positive working culture
• Maintaining compliance with CPR and relevant housing conditions case law
• Managing client expectations and ensuring matters progress efficiently
Requirements
• Previous housing disrepair experience is essential
• Experience supervising or leading a team is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of CPR and housing conditions litigation
• Ability to manage a litigated caseload independently
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-care skills
• Target-driven with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload


Desirable:
• Previous Team Leader Experience
