Reporting to the MD, the successful applicant will immediately be a key part of the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate must be capable of operating commercially within a fast-moving operational business, helping drive the next stage of growth.
The role requires someone who can:
*Translate operational performance into financial insight
*Strengthen forecasting and reporting capability
*Improve commercial decision-making
*Support investor readiness
*Challenge constructively at senior level
*Help reduce dependency on the MD for strategic financial interpretation
Key responsibilities will include:
*Strategic finance leadership
*Cashflow forecasting and scenario modelling
*Financial strategy and planning
*Investor and board reporting
*Financial risk management
*Managing banking and funding relationships
Operational and commercial finance
*Labour productivity insights
*Improving operational efficiencies
*Analysis of client profitability, margins and WIP
Leadership
*Leading and developing the finance function
*Improving MI and reporting
*Improving controls and reporting standards
*Introducing scalable systems
This role suits a commercially minded SME FD or strong Financial Controller ready to step up. Someone who is "hands-on" and comfortable in a fast paced environment.
