£50,000 to £60,000 basic, car allowance and uncapped commission
Permanent, full-time, office based
I’m working on a confidential role with an established ingredients business looking to add a commercially strong Sales Executive to their team.
This is a proper ingredients sales role across the nutraceutical, human nutrition, food and beverage markets. It would suit someone who already understands selling ingredients or raw materials into manufacturers, brands, contract manufacturers, NPD, formulation or procurement teams.
This is not a generic sales role and it is not one where someone can learn the market from scratch. The client needs someone who can hit the ground running, open doors, spot opportunities and manage accounts properly once they are won.
The role will involve:New business development across relevant food, beverage, nutrition and supplement customers
Managing and growing existing customer relationships
Identifying new projects and commercial opportunities in the market
Presenting ingredient solutions and wider product capabilities to customers
Preparing offers, following up quotes and supporting order processing
Using CRM to track opportunities and manage customer activity
Supporting trade shows and customer meetings where needed
Working closely with internal teams to develop the right solutions for customers
The type of person I’m keen to speak with:You will ideally already be selling ingredients, raw materials or functional ingredients into manufacturers or brands.
Backgrounds across any of the following could be relevant:
Nutraceutical ingredients
Supplement ingredients
Vitamins and minerals
Sports nutrition
Functional food and drink
Food ingredients
Beverage ingredients
Proteins, fibres, sweeteners, botanicals, extracts, hydrocolloids, flavours, colours or similar
You do not need to tick every box, but you do need to understand B2B ingredients sales and be comfortable with both new business and account management.
You will likely have:Experience in B2B ingredients, raw materials or technical sales
Confidence opening new accounts and building relationships
The ability to sell into manufacturers, brands, NPD, formulation or procurement teams
Strong communication and commercial follow-up
CRM experience
A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach
Willingness to be office based in the Manchester / North West area
Package:£50,000 to £60,000 basic salary
Car allowance
