Ripon (driving licence required) | £27,206 per annum rising to £28,246 after 3 months | Paid Weekly | Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
*Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
*Operating FLT equipment (Counterbalance licence preferred - training can be provided for the right candidate)
*Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
*Putting stock away in correct locations
*Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork accurately
*Supporting stock control and carrying out stock adjustments when required
*Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
*Working as part of a team to meet operational targets and customer expectations
*Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous warehouse experience
*A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred, but not essential as training can be provided)
*Good understanding of health & safety in a warehouse environment
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Basic numeracy and literacy skills
*A reliable and team-focused approach
