Full job descriptionProspero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hodge Hill, Birmingham from September 2026.

This is a full-time, long-term position supporting pupils within a Year 3 classroom, working closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging lessons and promote positive learning outcomes.

As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning activities
*Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
*Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
*Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
*Encourage positive behaviour and engagement within lessons
*Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
*Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and development

The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who:
*Has previous experience working within a primary school setting
*Has experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils, ideally Year 3
*Is patient, caring and committed to helping children achieve their potential
*Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Can work effectively as part of a team
*Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
