Full job descriptionTeaching Personnel are recruiting a dedicated Cover Supervisor to work within a well-established secondary school in Rochdale. This role offers consistent work with the possibility of a long-term placement for the right candidate.
You will step into the classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students complete assigned work while maintaining a calm and focused learning environment. The school has a strong behaviour policy and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an ideal setting for both experienced Cover Supervisors and those new to the role.
Candidates should be organised, resilient and confident managing groups of students aged 11–16. Previous experience in education or working with young people is highly desirable. This position is ideal for individuals considering a future in teaching who want to gain hands-on classroom experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
