Primary Class Teacher OpportunityA friendly and ambitious primary school in the West Norwood area of Lambeth is seeking a talented Primary Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
The school has a strong reputation within the local community and is known for its inclusive ethos, high expectations and commitment to developing confident, independent learners. The successful Primary Class Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, helping pupils prepare for the challenges of Upper KS2 through engaging teaching and high-quality learning experiences.
The RoleThe Primary Class Teacher will:
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
*Support pupils’ progress in reading, writing and mathematics
*Create a positive and purposeful learning environment
*Use assessment effectively to identify next steps
*Work closely with colleagues to develop curriculum provision
The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for a Primary Class Teacher who:
*Holds QTS and recent UK teaching experience
*Has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
*Demonstrates effective classroom management
*Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
*Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement
