Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Lecturer in Plumbing for a college in West London. The college is looking for a lecturer with considerable subject-based and pedagogic knowledge and understanding. the college is looking for a lecturer who is motivated and keeps up-to-date with developments in their professional area and also in teaching and learning practice. Lecturing duties include all aspects of the learning process, including preparation and planning, and the assessment and evaluation of students. All post holders are expected to consistently review and assess their performance alongside colleagues and engage in positive and critical debate on pedagogic issues. All lecturers must be committed to inclusive learning and ensure that they demonstrate the very best practice to meet individual learner needs including the promotion of equal opportunities. All staff are required to implement college policies.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or Heating (NVQ or C&G Advanced Craft)
· Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g DET) or willingness and ability to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification, supported by the College
· Plumbing industry experience


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
