Agility Resourcing has partnered with a large manufacturing company based in Blackpool who are recruiting a newly created Financial Controller. This is a high-profile opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing commercial insight, driving profitability and supporting strategic decision-making across a diverse international operation.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of management reporting, financial controls, budgeting and forecasting while acting as a key business partner to operational teams. You’ll provide meaningful analysis and recommendations that help shape business performance and support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the production of monthly management accounts, reporting and variance analysis
*Deliver detailed cost, margin and profitability analysis
*Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
*Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen financial controls
*Support group reporting, treasury management and tax compliance
*Manage statutory accounts preparation and external audits
*Partner with operational teams to improve performance, processes and profitability
*Identify efficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of AI and technology
About You
*ACA, ACCA qualified
*Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience
*Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills
*Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and directors
*Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a multi-entity environment would be advantageous
*Proactive, ambitious and keen to make an impact
