We are searching for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to further develop their skills within a commercially focused role, working closely with stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and business partnering, while supporting key decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and performance analysis
*Support budget and forecast processes across operational departments
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
*Produce financial reports and KPI analysis to support business performance
*Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and reporting
*Contribute to month-end and year-end accounting activities
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
About You
*Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) or actively studying towards a professional qualification
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of data
*Advanced Excel skills
*Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the business
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
*Able to thrive in a fast-moving, operational environment
