About the RoleWe are working with a number of secondary schools across Salford, Bolton, and Bury who are seeking enthusiastic and committed Science Teachers to join their teams from September 2026.
These full-time positions offer opportunities within supportive and forward-thinking schools, where you will deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach your specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) at Key Stage 5.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
*Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
*Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
*Support the wider school community and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*Passionate about education and student success
*Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
*ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
