Full job descriptionOur client, an industry-leading Manufacturer/Retailer of damp-proofing/water-proofing solutions, are looking to recruit a Technical Solutions Consultant to join their growing business. Working in a fun, sociable Horsham HQ (with the opportunity to meet with clients on a weekly basis), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!

Our client have been established for over 40 years and provide the Construction industry with an extensive range of products for keeping buildings dry - with clients ranging from household-name Retailers to end-user DIY enthusiasts! Over the years our client have grown to become the market leader in the UK, and also export across the globe. Due to internal promotions/growth, they are now actively seeking the perfect candidate to join them in a very varied role, working cross-functionally to grow B2B sales. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Acting as the technical/commercial authority, linking the company’s technical expertise with customer requirements
- Handling enquiries with a consultative approach - managing the entire customer lifecycle
- Prospecting and onboarding new business accounts
- Acting as the dedicated Key Account contact, driving revenue/margin growth by introducing new products (identifying opportunities to up/cross-sell products)
- Providing expert technical advice via telephone, email, and webchat
- Producing accurate and persuasive technical specifications to secure project wins
- Proactively identifying and revitalising lapsed or "at-risk" accounts to recover revenue
- Prospecting for new business using CRM data/industry insights
- Qualifying incoming leads and converting technical interest into active commercial accounts.
- Preparing and delivering technical webinars to industry professionals
- Conducting on-site consultations and inspections to provide troubleshooting and build customer rapport

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Experience of working in a Sales/Account Management capacity within the Construction/Merchant industry
- Experience of owning B2B client relationships
- Consultative sales approach (ability to build rapport/relationships)
- Experience of exceeding targets/KPI’s
- Fun, sociable personality
- Full, clean UK driving licence
