Location: Ashburn Hotel /South Kensington
Salary: £12.71 - £13.50 per hour




Job Purpose
To prepare, cook, and present a high-quality breakfast offering, including both cooked and continental options, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction and smooth kitchen operations during breakfast service.


Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and cook full English breakfast and other hot menu items to a consistent standard
*Set up and maintain the continental breakfast buffet (pastries, cereals, fruits, cold items)
*Ensure all food is fresh, well-presented, and replenished promptly
*Manage breakfast service efficiently
*Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety (HACCP)
*Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation (FIFO)
*Ensure kitchen and service areas are kept clean and organised at all times
*Minimise waste and control portioning
*Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service


Requirements & Skills
*Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
*Strong knowledge of breakfast preparation and service
*Ability to work independently and manage early morning shifts
*Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure
*Reliable, punctual, and well-organised


Working Hours
*Early morning shifts (typically 6am – 12 pm depending on business levels)
*Includes weekends and bank holidays
