A well-established specialist civil and structural engineering construction company is seeking an Estimator to join its growing team in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to play a key role in securing a diverse range of projects, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal departments from initial enquiry through to tender submission.
The Role:
*Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
*Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
*Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
*Producing bills of quantities and take-offs
*Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities
*Liaising with clients and internal teams throughout the tender process
*Supporting handovers to project delivery teams following contract award
The Candidate:
*Previous experience in an Estimator position within construction, civil engineering, structural steelwork, manufacturing or a related sector
*Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
*Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office
