The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Advisor to join a growing and supportive payroll team.
Key Responsibilities
*Process end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
*Input and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
*Manage RTI submissions, Auto Enrolment, pensions, and statutory payments.
*Liaise with clients, HMRC, pension providers, and other third parties.
*Support month-end and year-end payroll processes.
*Monitor HMRC notifications, tax code changes, and pension communications.
*Assist clients with payroll queries and provide excellent customer service.
*Stay up to date with payroll legislation and industry developments.
About You
*Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience within a bureau environment.
*Strong understanding of payroll legislation, PAYE, pensions, and Auto Enrolment.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
*Strong communication and client relationship skills.
*Proactive, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
*Experience using payroll software such as IRIS or PayCircle would be advantageous.
