Full job descriptionService Advisor – ReadingSalary: £30,000 Basic | OTE: £38,000+
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday
The OpportunityAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and professional dealership in Reading. This is a customer-focused role offering a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday hours and strong earning potential.
Key Responsibilities*Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service and repair process.
*Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance, and repair work.
*Providing accurate updates on vehicle progress and managing customer expectations.
*Preparing job cards and ensuring all required information is recorded accurately.
*Liaising closely with the workshop team to ensure work is completed efficiently.
*Upselling additional products and services where appropriate.
*Handling customer queries and resolving any issues professionally.
*Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
Requirements*Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade is preferred.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills.
*Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Confident using dealership management systems and computer software.
*Full UK driving licence.
What’s on Offer*£30,000 basic salary.
*£38,000+ OTE.
*Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekends.
