Full job descriptionAn established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its busy and supportive Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous private client experience to further develop their career, working alongside experienced solicitors on a broad range of matters.
The successful candidate will be organised, compassionate, and client-focused, with a genuine interest in private client work and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities*Assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of private client matters
*Supporting the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trust documents, and estate administration paperwork
*Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
*Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and third-party organisations
*Assisting with probate and estate administration matters
*Opening and maintaining client files in accordance with compliance procedures
*Managing diaries, appointments, and key deadlines
*Providing a professional and empathetic service to clients throughout their matter
Candidate Requirements*Previous experience in a Private Client Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support role
*A good understanding of Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration
*Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively to deadlines
*Professional, approachable, and client-focused manner
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
