*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour required
*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Experience working in a school, PRU or alternative provision desirable
*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
*Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP
Have you previously worked as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or Learning Support Assistant?
Do you have experience supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs?
Are you able to build positive relationships with young people who may be disengaged from education?

The Role - Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist setting. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils regulate emotions, manage behaviour and engage positively with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, supporting pupils during challenging situations and promoting a safe, structured and positive learning environment.
The School - Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
This specialist provision is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The school supports pupils with behavioural, social, emotional and mental health needs, providing personalised learning, strong pastoral support and targeted interventions to help pupils achieve positive outcomes.
