Salary: £12.71 - £13.50 per hour
Duration: Part time - 9am to 4pm including weekends and public holidays
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Room Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. The successful candidate will ensure guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.
Key Responsibilities
*Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards
*Change bed linens and towels
*Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture
*Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and surfaces
*Replenish guest amenities and supplies
*Report maintenance issues or damaged items to supervisors
*Ensure corridors, service areas, and housekeeping trolleys remain clean and organised
*Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures
*Respond politely and professionally to guest requests
*Handle lost and found items according to hotel policy
Requirements
*Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Good attention to detail
*Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift during shifts
*Positive attitude and good communication skills
*Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
