Full job descriptionAn opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a busy Corporate Team in Leicester, Leicestershire.
This is an excellent role for someone with an interest in corporate law, looking to gain hands-on experience supporting fee earners on a wide range of transactional and advisory work within a leading law firm.
The Role
You will support the Corporate Team with a variety of tasks, including:
• Drafting documents and client correspondence under supervision
• Preparing basic legal documents and forms with limited supervision
• Conducting legal research for fee earners
• Preparing document bundles and supporting transaction processes
• Assisting with M&A completion processes, including DocuSign coordination
• Managing file administration including opening, closing, archiving and client care documentation
• Liaising with clients via telephone and email
• Attending client meetings with fee earners and taking notes where required
• Supporting administrative coordination, including seminars and internal events
• Handling initial client enquiries and directing them to appropriate fee earners
Requirements
• Strong interest in Corporate Law
• Previous paralegal or legal support experience advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Strong team player with a proactive and motivated approach
• Willingness to learn and develop within a corporate legal environment
