We’re partnering with a leading global media organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for a 10-11 month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced, creative and commercially driven business.
About you:
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 1-2 years’ post-qualified experience. Proven month-end accounting experience is essential, with a strong understanding of revenue recognition, accruals and prepayments.
About the Role:
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting in line with strict deadlines.
*Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful variance analysis and commentary.
*Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
*Partner with operational teams and provide financial insight to non-finance stakeholders.
*Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency.
*Provide ad hoc analysis and support on finance projects as required.
