Pay Rate: £14.24 – £15.00 per hour
Contract: Full-time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Cambridge from September. This is a full-time, 1:1 support role, working closely with a pupil who requires additional support to access learning and thrive in the classroom.
The Role:
*Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs
*Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
*Implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
*Encouraging independence and positive behaviour
Requirements:
*Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)
*Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
*Strong understanding of SEN needs and support strategies
*Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
