Full job descriptionFollowing a sustained period of growth and continued investment, a brand new Finance Manager position has become available within a highly successful organisation with an impressive track record of growth and a strong outlook for the future.


As they continue to invest in both their people and processes, they’re looking to appoint a Finance Manager who can support the Finance Director across a broad remit encompassing reporting, controls, business partnering and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:
*Taking ownership of key financial reporting activities at month-end.
*Leading statutory reporting and acting as a key contact throughout the external audit process.
*Delivering meaningful financial insight to support decision-making across the wider business.
*Partnering with senior stakeholders to improve financial performance and challenge existing processes.
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.
*Driving improvements across reporting, controls and governance frameworks.
*Playing a key role in strategic projects, change initiatives and wider business improvements.
*Developing strong relationships across both finance and operational teams.
*Coaching and developing members of the finance team
This role offers a genuine blend of technical accounting excellence and commercial stakeholder engagement, making it an ideal stepping stone towards Financial Controller and future finance leadership positions.


Person specification:
*Package up to £70,000
*ACA or ACCA qualified
*Trained within an accountancy practice
*Strong technically, with experience of statutory accounts and financial reporting
*Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across a complex organisation
*Naturally inquisitive with a continuous improvement mindset
*Keen to develop leadership and people management skills
