Reed Accountancy are working with a close client of ours who are seeking an experienced legal cashier. Joining an established firm and team, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining company and client ledgers as well as general books.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
*Maintaining general cashier duties
*Processing payments and receipts
*Assisting across banking duties
*Allocating receipts
*Carrying out AML checks
*Monitoring daily transactions
*Reviewing cheques and authorising
*Calculating interest
*Investigating and resolving discrepancies
*Supporting month-end and audit processes
*Performing ad hoc duties as and when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in a similar legal cashier role
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
*Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
