Full job descriptionKennedyPearce are hiring a Results-driven qualified Management Accountant with extensive experience managing financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, cash flow analysis, and stakeholder management within fast-paced commercial environments. This role is 4 days a week in the office.The Management Accountant:Financial Reporting & Accounting*Managed end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
*Prepared management accounts, financial commentary, cash flow reporting, and executive management packs.
*Maintained general ledger integrity through reconciliations, accruals, provisions, journal postings, and balance sheet reviews.
*Supported the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit requirements.
*Ensured compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate governance frameworks, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
Financial Control & Compliance*Delivered accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting while maintaining adherence to accounting policies and reporting deadlines.
*Partnered with internal and external auditors, coordinating audits and resolving financial queries efficiently.
*Managed approval processes, financial controls, and payment governance to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
Analysis & Business Partnering*Produced insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
*Developed and enhanced analytical methodologies to improve financial visibility and operational performance.
*Leveraged business data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
*Delivered ad hoc financial modelling, reporting, and analysis for senior stakeholders.
