We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our team from September on a full-time basis. This rewarding role involves supporting students aged 16–25 with a range of additional needs, helping them develop their independence, confidence, academic skills, and preparation for adulthood.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support both inside and outside the classroom. Our students have a variety of learning difficulties and disabilities, including autism, moderate learning difficulties, communication needs, and complex additional needs. The successful candidates will play a vital role in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide individual and small-group support to students with SEN.
*Assist students to access learning activities and achieve their personal targets.
*Promote independence, confidence, and social development.
*Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and daily living skills where required.
*Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to deliver outstanding support.
