Tutor Roles - Basingstoke
Full-time & Part-time Opportunities | Start September 2026
We are looking for passionate and dedicated tutors to join our team in Basingstoke, delivering high-quality, personalised education to young people outside of mainstream classroom settings.
About the RoleAs a tutor, you will:
*Provide 1:1 tuition in core subjects or functional skills
*Deliver engaging, tailored learning sessions to meet individual needs
*Support learners with a range of abilities, needs, and learning styles
*Monitor and track progress, adapting your teaching approach where needed
*Work flexibly across home, school, or community-based settings depending on placement
Requirements*Minimum 6 months’ experience working in UK schools
*Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science
*Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or intervention work
*Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people
*Reliable, organised, and confident working independently
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
