Join a dynamic and professional team supporting the smooth operation of a high-end property portfolio. We are looking for a reliable Stores Assistant to help manage the movement, storage, and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring efficiency and organisation across all sites.
The Role
As a Stores Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Property team by managing deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring items are transported safely and efficiently across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
*Receive, check, and sign for deliveries against dispatch notes
*Load and unload vehicles with furniture, materials, and equipment
*Ensure all items are protected during transit and storage
*Deliver furniture and building materials across multiple properties
*Build and dismantle furniture as required
*Maintain accurate stock lists and support inventory management
*Keep the vehicle clean, organised, and regularly checked
*Complete and submit all relevant paperwork daily
*Provide cover for colleagues when required
*Follow all company policies, with a strong focus on health and safety
*Participate in shift patterns and on-call rota when required
*Carry out any additional duties within the scope of the role
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a professional with:
*Previous experience in a similar stores, warehouse, or logistics role
*Experience in handling, building, or dismantling furniture
*Manual handling training (desirable)
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*A proactive and reliable approach to work
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*A full, clean UK driving licence
*Knowledge of routes across Surrey, London, and surrounding areas (desirable)
