Full job descriptionA reputable law firm in Telford is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to support its busy Residential Property team. The successful candidate will assist with a broad range of conveyancing transactions and play a key role in delivering an efficient and professional service to clients.


Key Responsibilities
Supporting fee earners with residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
Preparing contract packs, transfer deeds, completion statements, and related documentation.
Conducting property searches and reviewing search results.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other third parties.
Managing correspondence and maintaining accurate case records.
Assisting with exchanges and completions.
Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
Monitoring transaction progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Providing updates to clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.


Requirements
Previous experience in a Conveyancing Paralegal or legal assistant role.
Knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and property transactions.
Understanding of Land Registry processes and property searches.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and client care abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
A legal qualification or relevant legal studies would be beneficial.
