Job Description:
Full job descriptionA progressive and friendly law firm is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its Residential Property team in Hereford. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support fee earners with a busy and varied caseload while developing their career in residential conveyancing.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and clients receive a professional and responsive service.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions.
Opening new files and completing initial compliance and ID checks.
Preparing contract packs, searches, and standard conveyancing documentation.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors.
Drafting routine correspondence and updating case management systems.
Assisting with exchanges, completions, and post-completion formalities.
Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
Monitoring case progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Providing regular updates to clients and third parties.
General administrative support to the conveyancing team.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant role is desirable.
Understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and client care abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
A law degree or legal studies would be an advantage but not essential.
