We’re working exclusively with a leading independent planning consultancy based in Preston, known for delivering high-quality planning advice across a broad range of sectors including residential, commercial, and strategic land. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to add a talented Town Planner to their dynamic and collaborative team.
What’s on offer:*A competitive salary (up to £38,000, depending on experience)

What you’ll be doing:*Preparing planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals
*Undertaking research and site assessments
*Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
*Supporting senior planners and directors on complex projects
*Playing a key role in shaping planning strategies for a diverse portfolio
About you:*Ideally 1-3 years’ experience in a planning role (public or private sector)
*RTPI accredited degree or equivalent
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive, solution-focused mindset
*A genuine interest in the planning system and how it shapes communities
