About the Role
Our client, a well-established removals company based in West Sussex, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Removals / Export Packer to join their professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with removals and export packing experience who takes pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
What you’ll do:
As Removals Export Packer, you will be responsible for packing and handling household goods for both domestic and international moves, ensuring items are prepared safely and securely for transportation.
Main Responsibilities:
*Professionally packing household and personal effects for VIP clients.
*Wrapping and protecting furniture and valuable items to industry standards.
*Assisting with domestic and international removals.
*Loading and unloading removal vehicles and shipping containers.
*Preparing shipments for overseas transportation.
*Handling customers’ belongings with care and attention.
*Working as part of a removals crew on residential and commercial moves.
*Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times.
*Following company procedures and health and safety regulations.
*Assisting with warehouse duties when required.
What you need:
*Previous experience within the removals industry is essential.
*Export packing experience would be highly advantageous.
*Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
*Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
*Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
*Excellent team player with a positive attitude.
*Strong customer service and communication skills.
*A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
