Job: Laser Cutter
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Shift: Night Shift
Contract: Temporary to Permanent


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Cutting Machinist to join a busy manufacturing company based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:*Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
*Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials safely
*Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
*Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
*Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards
*Carrying out routine maintenance and housekeeping duties
*Working efficiently to meet production schedules and targets
Candidate Requirements:*Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery is essential
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
*Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
*Flexible and reliable approach to work
