Launch Your Private Client Career with a Supportive TeamAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Private Client Solicitor with up to 2 years’ PQE to join a growing and well-established law firm in Basildon.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise within a busy Private Client department, working alongside experienced practitioners on a broad range of matters while receiving ongoing support, mentoring and training.
The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional client service and building a long-term career within Private Client law.
The RoleYou will assist with and manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
*Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning
*Probate and estate administration
*Lasting Powers of Attorney
*Deputyship applications
*Court of Protection matters
*Trust administration
*Inheritance Tax and succession planning matters
Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing files with appropriate supervision depending on experience.
*Meeting and advising clients in person, by telephone and remotely.
*Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
*Providing clear, practical and client-focused legal advice.
*Maintaining accurate file management and compliance standards.
*Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
*Supporting senior fee earners on more complex matters.
*Contributing to the continued success and growth of the department.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
*Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ – 2 years’ PQE).
*Experience within a Private Client department gained during training, qualification or post-qualification practice.
*Knowledge of Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
*A professional, empathetic and client-focused approach.
*The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
*A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Private Client law.
