A well-established law firm in London is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners, including file opening, document management, and handling correspondence
*Manage incoming calls, emails, post, and online portals efficiently
*Draft legal documents and bills under supervision using appropriate templates and precedents
*Assist with the progression of conveyancing matters, including liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties
*Handle basic legal processes such as preparing forms, arranging funding, and supporting case progression through relevant systems
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and transaction details
*Prepare completion statements and assist with post-completion matters
*Ensure clients are regularly updated on the progress of their cases
*Review and obtain documentation from clients and third parties, ensuring accuracy and completeness
*Support compliance with firm policies, including data protection, confidentiality, and file management procedures
*Assist with anti-money laundering checks and file audits in line with risk management policies
*Deliver a consistently high level of client service
Key Requirements:
*Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law environment.
*Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
*A proactive and professional approach with a strong client-focused mindset
