Full job descriptionWe are currently looking to recruit experienced Care Assistants to support older people with dementia in residential and nursing homes in the North London and Hertfordshire areas.
You must have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a care setting in the UK and have checkable work references covering that period.
Job description
*Personal Care: Assist with washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting while maintaining the individual’s dignity.
*Food Assistance: Assist in supporting residents with eating and drinking if they require support.
*Mobility Support : Assist residents to move around comfortably and safely, including using mobility aids or hoists when required.
*Social Care: Provide emotional support and promote mental well-being by engaging in conversations, hobbies, and social activities. Good communication skills are essential.
*Housekeeping duties: Perform basic domestic duties like laundry, vacuuming, and tidying to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
*Record Keeping: Ensure all information is kept up to date on the electronic care plans.
