The Role
The Environment, Health and Safety Manager will take responsibility for leading workplace safety, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving a positive safety culture across the site. Key duties include:
*Developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies.
*Monitoring workplace conditions and identifying potential hazards.
*Carrying out accident investigations and recommending corrective actions.
*Delivering and coordinating training programmes to raise awareness and capability.
*Engaging with employees and managers to embed safe systems of work.
*Reporting on performance and supporting continuous improvement in EHS.
The Person
We are looking for an Environment, Health and Safety Manager with proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. The successful candidate will have:
*Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards.
*Demonstrable experience in accident investigation and risk management.
*The ability to design and deliver training programmes effectively.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
*Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety or environmental management.
*A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and to deadlines.
