Location: Gloucester (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £45,000

Our client, a leading organisation within the technology and communications sector, is hiring a Management Accountant to support a key business division and provide insightful financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, influence commercial decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance, reporting accuracy, and forecasting processes.
What you’ll do
*Produce monthly management accounts, including accounting adjustments and analysis
*Prepare management information packs with detailed variance analysis and commentary
*Ensure financial data is accurate and compliant with accounting standards
*Partner with senior stakeholders to explain financial performance against budget and forecast
*Identify opportunities for growth, cost savings, and operational efficiencies
*Review and improve financial processes and controls
*Support financial aspects of software implementations and business change projects
*Assist with the integration of acquisitions into the wider organisation
*Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders, operational stakeholders, and commercial teams to provide meaningful financial insight that supports strategic decision-making.
What we’re looking for
*Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and management accounting principles
*Previous experience producing management accounts and financial analysis
*Excellent Excel skills
*Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
*Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
*Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of NetSuite, Power BI, or PowerPoint would be advantageous
*AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA would be beneficial
