We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist to join a busy and welcoming organisation based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, thrives in a people-facing environment, and takes pride in delivering a professional service.
Due to the location of the office, access to your own transport would be highly advantageous.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front-of-house function and providing administrative support where required.
Key responsibilities include:
• Meeting and greeting visitors, clients, and contractors
• Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area
• Coordinating meeting rooms and visitor bookings
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail
• Supporting with general administration duties
• Assisting internal teams with ad hoc administrative tasks
• Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
• Previous experience within a Receptionist, Front of House, or Administrative role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Professional and friendly approach
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
The ideal candidate will also
• Be proactive and reliable
• Enjoy working in a busy environment
• Take pride in creating a positive first impression
• Be confident communicating with people at all levels
• Have access to their own transport due to the office location
