Full job descriptionAre you an organised and proactive Procurement Planner looking for your next challenge?
We are recruiting for a Procurement Planner to join a busy and successful organisation. This is a key role responsible for ensuring materials and components are available when needed, supporting business operations and maintaining effective stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing procurement schedules in line with business forecasts and operational requirements
*Raising, maintaining and expediting purchase orders through SAP
*Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any supply issues
*Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Managing inventory levels and identifying potential stock risks
*Providing accurate forecasts to suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
*Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and planning functions
*Attending regular planning and operational meetings
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience within procurement, purchasing, materials planning or supply chain planning
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
*Experience using SAP, knowledge of Accellos would be advantageous
*Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
*A collaborative team player who can build effective relationships across departments
