An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to lead a growing Commercial Property team within a well-established and forward-thinking firm.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee the department’s performance, manage and develop the team, and deliver high-quality commercial property advice to a broad client base.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage the Commercial Property team
*Oversee workload allocation, supervision, and quality control
*Handle a broad caseload of commercial property matters including development, landlord & tenant, and acquisitions/disposals
*Drive business development and marketing initiatives
*Support the firm’s strategic growth plans
*Achieve fee earning and departmental targets
*Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
*Manage departmental credit control and compliance standards
*Mentor and support junior team members
About You
*Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
*Minimum 8 years’ PQE within Commercial Property
*Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
*Experience managing or supervising a team
*Proven business development and client relationship skills
*Experience with AML and onboarding compliance requirements
*Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
