Full job descriptionThis is a newly created Head of Finance role reporting to the CEO, leading the build-out of a standalone finance function following a carve-out. You’ll oversee UK and France operations, driving reporting, controls, and system transformation in a high-growth, cross-border environment.

Description
*Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
*Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
*Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals.
*Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the organisation’s assets.
*Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
*Manage and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and development.
Profile
A successful Head of Finance should have:
*A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the FMCG industry.
*Professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
*Proven expertise in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
*Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
*Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong communication and leadership abilities.
