September 2026 Start
Tradewind Recruitment
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teachers to work within our partner SEN and SEMH schools from September 2026.
We are proud to work with a range of specialist schools and alternative provisions that support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs. These schools provide rewarding opportunities for teachers who are passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, support pupils’ academic progress, and help develop their confidence, independence, and social skills. Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider school staff, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally.
We welcome applications from experienced KS2 Teachers, ECTs, and teachers looking to move from mainstream education into specialist settings. Previous SEN or SEMH experience is advantageous but not essential. Schools are looking for individuals who are patient, adaptable, resilient, and committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of young people.
The successful candidate will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*A flexible and child-centred approach to teaching
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
What Tradewind Recruitment can offer:
*Access to a wide range of long-term and permanent teaching opportunities
*Competitive rates of pay
*Free CPD and specialist SEND training
*Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant
*Opportunities to develop your experience within specialist education settings
If you are looking for a rewarding role where you can have a meaningful impact on pupils with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
Apply today to secure a KS2 teaching position for September 2026 through Tradewind Recruitment.
