Job Description:
Full job descriptionPortfolio Payroll are working with a leading business services organisation who are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to support and strengthen their growing payroll function.
As Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:
*Leading the monthly payroll cycle across a large, multi-entity group
*Acting as the key escalation point for complex queries
*Ensuring full compliance across tax, pensions, benefits and employment legislation
*Supporting ongoing transformation, automation and process improvement activity
*Coaching and developing the wider payroll team
*Working closely with People, Finance and external partners to resolve payroll matters efficiently
*
Experience & Qualifications
*Proven background managing complex or high-volume payrolls
*Strong knowledge of pay, tax, pensions and statutory requirements
*Confident using iTrent, Sage and advanced Excel
*Leadership experience with the ability to support and develop others
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
