About the Role
We are currently seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school with an immediate start available. This position will run on a temporary basis through to the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract from September.This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and nurture their creativity within a supportive and well-resourced department.

Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
*Encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic development
*Plan and assess work in line with curriculum guidelines.
*Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Contribute to displays, exhibitions, and wider school activities

Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
*Experience teaching in a UK secondary school
*Strong subject knowledge in Art and design
*Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
*A passion for fostering creativity and student engagement
