A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across the classroom, helping them engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. The role would suit candidates with previous school-based experience, graduates looking to gain experience in education, or individuals passionate about supporting children’s development.

Key Responsibilities*Support teaching and learning across the classroom

*Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

*Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities

*Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

*Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning

*Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet pupil needs

RequirementsEssential:
*GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

*Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting

*Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable:
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant

*Knowledge of SEN and intervention support

*Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related subject
